The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Author: Suzanne Collins

Publisher: Scholastic Press 2009

Katniss Everdeen has won the Hunger Games but in doing so she sparked a rebellion. On her victory tour, death threats are hanging over her friends and family. President Snow has ordered her to stop the rebellion but can she? When Katniss learns that she has to face the Hunger Games arena again, she doesn’t know how much longer she will be able to put up with it all.

As I said in my previous review, I am hooked. Although this book is not as good as the first one in the Hunger Games series, it is still a really absorbing story. Of course, you want to know what happens next to Katniss and all the others! I must say that I found the whole boy-girl-boy triangle a bit silly even though it makes you want to read this book in one go, without putting it down. In the end, you realize that Katniss, Gale and Peeta are all very naive but sensible at the same time. If you find that hard to understand, please, read this book. I would love to hear what you think.
